                                                YES, MAGIC DOES EXIST

It is easy at times to forget that we dwell in a magical world. In the process of living day to day, we often take for granted the sun rising each morning, our breath flowing evenly in and out as it sustains us, the beating of our heart, the love of a good friend, the pleasure of reading a good book, a slow walk in nature where we appreciate the world around us.

We’ve grown accustomed to what feels ordinary and fail to realize how extraordinary is the ordinariness of our days. It is only when a crisis shows up, when we experience great disappointment, sorrow or a setback, that we begin to see just how wonderful our lives really are when we live them in the awareness of magic and grace.

When was the last time you rose early enough to see the sun rise, or walk outside in the evening to watch the sun go down or see the crescent of a silver moon rising? When was the last time you noticed the trees outside your window as they sway in the breeze? Magic is everywhere present, just as God intended it to be.

We don’t have to travel the world to experience magic. It lies deep within us waiting to be discovered and released.
