JOY

It is my heart that sings with joy

At the realization of God in me

The perfect plan of love unfolding in my life

It is my words that ring with joy

As I share my love, my gifts with those around me

Who are God’s perfect and loving creations

It is my eyes that see the joy

In the faces of those I love, in the faces

Of all whose lives I touch with love and beauty

It is my hands that create joy

With every word I write, with all that I bring forth

In love and beauty to honor the Creator of all

It is my feet that walk in joy

Softly upon the earth

Feeling the strength of my limbs as I move in grace

It is my ears that hear with joy

All the loving words from those around me

And the beautiful strains of music in my life

It is my mind that perceives joy

In all of God’s glorious creation

And in the awareness of the Divine in my life

It is my soul that sings with joy

At the dawn of every new morning

And the peaceful rest of each night

I awake in joy

I live in joy

I spread joy

For Love and Joy are my purpose upon this earth
