A PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY - A PRAYER FOR OUR WORLD

Mother-Father God, we stand before you now at the threshold of things uncertain. We know our fears, our concerns, our worries, but we do not linger on those because we know in the depths of our hearts fear is not where You intend for us to spend our lives. You know our highest good and You bring that about in ways and through people we cannot always comprehend. You lift the fog of our non-understanding when we take time to sit in silence with You. You remind us of the love, the wholeness and the perfection with which you created us. You stand by, ever blessing, ever upholding, ever supporting even when we do not recognize Your guiding hand that directs us. We stand in the confidence and sheer belief in what we know to be true, but may not yet see unfolding before our eyes. Your will is pure. Your will is all-good, all-peace, for all people. No matter what lies before us or what lies behind us, we now live fully and confidently in this present moment of peace, love, hope and assurance of blessings seen and unseen. And so it is. Thank you Mother-Father God. Amen.
